Role Summary: The Staff Software Quality Assurance Engineer will be part of a team developing world class Digital Solutions for the Transportation industry. You will be responsible for ensuring the product quality for the end to end system by managing development cycle process.

Essential Responsibilities: This role provides leadership for process improvements, governance throughout the process, measurements system enhancements and tracking, and audit supervision.

In this role you will:

• Partner with the P&L teams and be responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of process effectiveness and efficiency
• Develop and maintain metrics / measurement system for continuous improvement, including automation of metrics collection
• Support continuous product and process improvement through detailed failure analysis for non-conformances, and investigates, develops and implements effective and compliant solutions for product or process corrections, retrospective and remediation action plans, and for corrective and preventive actions (CAPA Program)
• Lead, develop, communicate & implement a strategy to ensure compliance with procedures
• Ensure process compliance through the development of comprehensive procedures, work instructions, flowcharts, forms, templates, checklists, worksheets, training and other product and process related documentation
• Ensure quality process and regulatory compliance in the spirit of documented procedures for all aspects of functional responsibility
• Observe (audit) that documented standards, processes, and procedures are followed
• Provide feedback to project staff and managers on the results of quality assurance activities. Ensuring that noncompliance issues are addressed
• Utilize risk management tools and aids for use by the organization in accordance with documented procedures, including but not limited to PFMEA, DFMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, Failure Mode Analysis, etc. Develops process mitigation plans and strategies that are designed to mitigate the risks identified through the Risk Management process
